Our growing organization is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support our growth and profitability. This position requires at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
2. Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
3. Managing the inventory control system to ensure accurate tracking, valuation, and reporting of inventory.
4. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
5. Processing financial transactions, generate reports, and manage financial data.
6. Collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies and plans that align with the company's objectives.
7. Managing the preparation of all financial reports and statements, ensuring their accuracy and timeliness.
8. Coordinating with external auditors and managing the audit process.
9. Evaluating and managing risk, implementing risk management strategies as necessary.
10. Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in financial analysis and inventory management
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
6. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
7. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and compelling manner.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
9. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
