Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension checks, alignments, and transmission diagnostics
- Provide accurate auto estimates and explain repair procedures clearly to customers
- Upsell additional services such as shocks & struts, air brake systems, diesel engine repairs, or auto body work to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Write detailed service reports and maintain precise service writing records
- Manage cash handling transactions efficiently and accurately during billing processes
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or auto service management background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Hands-on mechanic experience with expertise in automotive repair including transmissions, oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, and diesel engine repairs
- Knowledge of automotive estimating software and service writing practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally
- Sales-oriented mindset with experience in upselling automotive services and automobile sales strategies
- Mechanical knowledge across various systems such as air brakes, auto body repair, shocks & struts, and wheel alignment techniques
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while providing a positive customer experience
- Familiarity with dealership operations including auto estimating tools and service management systems

Pay: $50,021.65 - $60,241.13 per year
