Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, where you'll be the vital link ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This position will handle all shipping and receiving duties and activities, ensuring items are received accurately and timely.
The hours for this position are 8AM-430PM Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Completes requisitions for consumables, as required.
- Verifies purchase requests with appropriate paperwork.
- Assists with inventory management and invoice verification.
- Organizes, manages, and ships all completed products to customers utilizing UPS, FedEx, US Post Office, Airlines, etc.
- Gathers all necessary information needed for shipping products to customers including work order packets, accurate quantity of product, shipping list, and appropriate information to ship completed product to customers.
- Troubleshoots shipping issues.
- Issues certification of compliance, as applicable.
- Issues labels and packing list information for product labeling and packaging.
- Packages and seals products for shipping.
- Obtains responsibility for the use of proper safety procedures.
- Completes required documentation.
- Uses Lean Enterprise methods to reduce waste and complexity in all processes.

- Experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, highly preferred.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Knowledge of packaging standards and safety procedures for load & unload operations.
Education and Experience
Required:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
Desired:
- Experience in a shipping and receiving capacity
The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level. Additions to the compensation packing, including but not limited to paid time off, insurance benefits and 401(k) eligibility, will be outlined at the time of the job offer.
Compensation range: $20-$26/hour
Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
