Job Summary:
Provides care and support to women during pregnancy, labor, childbirth and postpartum, while monitoring maternal and fetal health and assisting healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vitals.
- Administer pain management (e.g., epidurals) and assist during vaginal or C-section deliveries.
- Conduct postpartum monitoring and newborn assessments.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care.
- Identify and respond to complications.
Requirements:
- RN license in state of assignment.
- BLS (AHA) and NRP (AHA) required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience required.
