What We're Looking For
IACC is engaging a Development Coordinator (Foundation Relations & Grants) to build and manage our institutional fundraising program. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with foundation and corporate grant research, writing, and funder cultivation, and is comfortable working independently to build a fundraising program from the ground up. Candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S., and Farsi language skills are not required.
Scope of Work
- Research and identify aligned foundation and corporate grant opportunities using professional databases (e.g., GuideStar)
- Build and maintain a comprehensive prospect database tracking funder priorities, deadlines, reporting requirements, and award history
- Draft and submit competitive grant narratives, budgets, and full applications
- Manage a full grant calendar and track renewal cycles across all active and prospective funders
- Identify capacity-building grant opportunities aimed at strengthening IACC's long-term fundraising infrastructure
- Develop reusable templates, systems, and processes that remain with the organization beyond this engagement
Qualifications
- Experience with foundation and corporate grant research, writing, and funder cultivation
- Working knowledge of grant budgeting, reporting, and compliance
- Nonprofit development experience; arts, culture, education, or community-org background a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule to meet deliverables
Engagement Details
- 1099 independent contractor engagement
- 3–6 month initial term, renewable based on performance
- Approximately 15–20 hours per week, self-directed schedule
- Fully remote — candidates may be located anywhere in the U.S.
- Compensation: $25–$45/hour, commensurate with experience
