Employee will remain directly involved in monitoring and mentoring the clients. As direct care staff and support to the client. BHT’s act as a liaison between clients and staff and relay pertinent client information to appropriate staff. Employee will oversee overall property cleanliness including housing. Employee will manage living arrangements, maintains rules, transports and report inconsistencies with clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- One (1) year experience working with substance abuse population preferred
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude and clear understanding of boundaries
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Must maintain a valid Drivers’ License
- Must be able to use good judgement and decision making skills
- Must possess leadership qualities
- Must maintain the highest level of client confidentiality
- Must be open mined, flexible, and willing to take direction
- Must work well in a crisis setting and be willing to learn new crisis intervention techniques
