Responsibilities
- Supervise daily packaging activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain strict sanitation practices throughout the packaging area, complying with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations.
- Lead efforts to uphold safety protocols, including proper cleaning procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage inventory levels of packaging materials and ensure timely replenishment.
- Operate and oversee mechanical equipment related to packaging lines, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Enforce safety policies, including proper forklift operation and safe handling of materials within the packaging area.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing operational data and implementing process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or food industry packaging operations, preferably within craft brewing or similar food sectors.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to packaging machinery and equipment maintenance.
- Experience and familiarity with warehouse procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members.
- Strong self motivation and Ability to efficiently manage your time and work alone.
