We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent service in a fast-paced UPS retail environment. The position involves assisting customers with shipping, packaging, printing, mailbox services, and other store-related needs while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional store.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist customers with shipping, packing, printing, copying, scanning, and other retail services.
- Process customer transactions accurately.
- Prepare, package, label, and handle customer shipments.
- Receive, organize, stock, and move packages and merchandise.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store.
- Assist with inventory and general store operations.
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Support store sales and customer-service goals.
Physical Requirements — IMPORTANT
- Must be able to safely lift, carry, move, and handle packages weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Must be able to bend, reach, lift, and move packages throughout the workday.
- Must be able to safely handle packages of different sizes and weights.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic computer and POS/cash-register skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous retail, sales, shipping, packing, or customer-service experience is preferred.
Graphic Design Skills — Plus Point
- Graphic design experience or skills are a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar design software is preferred.
- Ability to create or edit flyers, business cards, signs, brochures, invitations, and other printed materials is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design, image editing, formatting, and print preparation is highly desirable.
Physical capability: Applicants must be able to safely lift and carry up to 40 lbs. as part of normal store operations.
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
