Seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) with 7+ years of experience designing electrical systems for healthcare, institutional, and commercial buildings. Responsible for designing and producing stamped electrical construction documents, including power distribution, lighting systems, emergency and standby power, grounding systems, electrical load calculations, service entrance equipment, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, and electrical distribution systems. Strong experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM coordination, NEC, fire alarm coordination, low-voltage systems (AV/Telecom, Access Control, Security/CCTV), construction administration, shop drawing review, RFIs, and multidisciplinary coordination is required. Candidates should hold an active Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) License, have Michigan PE registration (or reciprocity eligibility), and be comfortable serving as the firm's sole in-house Electrical Engineer while collaborating with Mechanical Engineering teams throughout design and construction. Experience with NFPA 99, NFPA 110, healthcare facilities, essential electrical systems, and Building Automation Systems (BAS) is highly preferred.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
