Position Overview:
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations within the establishment to ensure exceptional service quality and profitability. This role involves strategic planning, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in compliance with regulatory requirements. The manager will collaborate closely with suppliers, kitchen teams, and front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless dining experience that meets customer expectations. Additionally, the role requires monitoring financial performance, controlling costs, and implementing marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth. Ultimately, the Food & Beverage Manager plays a critical role in enhancing guest satisfaction and sustaining the business’s reputation in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for food and beverage services to ensure efficiency and quality.

Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, conducting regular inspections and staff training.

Analyze financial reports, prepare budgets, and control expenses to maximize profitability.

Coordinate with marketing and events teams to create promotions and special offerings that attract and retain customers.

Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.

Oversee daily operations including scheduling, workflow management, and quality controll

Approve purchasing orders, control inventory levels, and oversee supplier relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management or a similar supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.

Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reports.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Food Safety or ServSafe Manager Certification.

Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.

Background in upscale or high-volume food and beverage operations.

Advanced degree or additional certifications in hospitality or business management.
