Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to early childhood education standards.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior management strategies and fostering a respectful learning environment.
- Engage with children through activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development.
- Provide attentive toddler care and support special education needs through early intervention techniques.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment aligned with child welfare guidelines and daycare best practices.
- Support classroom experience by working directly with students, tutoring when needed, and facilitating activities that enhance social skills and emotional regulation.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to child welfare and educational success.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or Montessori methods is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience with special education or early intervention programs is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with a proactive attitude toward childcare responsibilities.
- Certification or training related to early childhood education or childcare is desirable; however, relevant classroom experience can also be considered.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.35 per hour
