Minimum Qualifications:
- A Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Ohio
- A valid driver’s license and capability to commute in the Cincinnati area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to be trained in prosthetic and orthotic care
- One or more years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and move up to 25lbs
- Hand dexterity that is adequate enough to complete the required job tasks
- Ability to communicate clearly enough to maintain written records and communication among staff

Job Description:
- Report to the chief prosthetist for training and direction
- Work alongside the Certified Nurse Practitioner and Occupational Therapist to ensure the highest quality care for our patients
- Manage comprehensive patient care. This includes patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan and a follow up treatment plan.
- Prosthetic care may include and is not limited to facilitating patient evaluations, prosthesis design, fabrication, fittings, and modifications to treat limb loss for purposes of restoring physiological function and/or cosmesis.
- Support and conform to professional responsibilities that promote and assure the overall welfare of the patient and the integrity of the profession
- Develop and document policies and procedures to ensure patient protection and adhere to all local, state and federal law regulations
- Follow patient care guidelines and procedures that have been established by the facility
- Maintain a safe and professional environment for patient care
- See patients in the office during clinic hours (weekdays between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm)
- When necessary, commute by personal vehicle to see patients in nursing homes, hospitals, and patients' residences (mileage will be compensated)
- Document all visits and phone calls, including evaluations and visit records
- Complete fabrication and measurement sheet documentation
- Provide patient/family education and instruction for the device provided (e.g. cleaning/maintaining requirements and safety instructions for the device)
- Maintain physical therapist license in the state of Ohio
