We are a small, friendly automotive garage offering general repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and general vehicle maintenance. We take pride in delivering honest, reliable service to our community.
Position Overview: We are seeking an outgoing and personable entry-level Service Writer to join our team. You will be the face of the shop, welcoming customers, managing work orders, and helping ensure smooth operations. No prior experience is required—we will train the right person!
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and create a welcoming environment.
- Listen to customer concerns and document them accurately.
- Coordinate and schedule service appointments.
- Communicate with technicians and ensure customers understand recommended repairs.
- Use or learn the Mitchell1 (Mitchell Plus) system for work orders and customer records.
- Answer phones in a friendly, professional manner.
- Help ensure timely follow-ups and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Friendly and outgoing personality; you enjoy talking to people.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Comfort with computers; experience with or ability to learn Mitchell1 (Mitchell Plus).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to be trained on shop processes and customer service.
