This is a high-level, technical field engineering role for an elite technician specializing in ultra-luxury automated shading solutions. You will not simply be \"hanging blinds.\" You will own the end-to-end onsite execution, configuration, and final commissioning of world-class shading architectures (such as Lutron Sivoia QS and Palladiom networks).
As a Lead, you are entirely self-directed on-site, acting as the primary line of communication between the project engineering team, General Contractors, and client representatives.
Precision Installation: Lead the installation and configuration of high-end Lutron motorized configurations (pocket-mount, surface-mount, dual-roller, and complex recessed architectures).
System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve communication issues between shades, processors, and Pico wireless remotes.
Wiring: Execute low-voltage wiring pathways back to central power panels with impeccable clean wire management, ensuring exact polarity compliance and proper wire gauge distribution.
Leadership: Direct, mentor, and perform quality control audits for junior installers and helpers on-site to enforce strict brand aesthetics and compliance with absolute timeline accuracy.
Shade Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of dedicated, hands-on experience specifically installing and commissioning high-end, intelligent automated shade systems.
Technical Literacy: Comprehensive familiarity with Lutron HomeWorks QS ecosystems, shade programming software, and a firm grasp of low-voltage fundamentals (polarity, voltage drop metrics, bus wiring topologies).
Ultra-Luxury Environment Standards: Proven history working inside premium residential environments with an elite standard of craftsmanship and care for high-value millwork, wall coverings, and sensitive architectural textures.
Technical Autonomy: Ability to independently interpret Lutron shade reports, electrical schematics, and blueprint submittals without needing layout oversight.
