Responsibilities
- Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements.
- Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff.
- Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and innovative techniques such as gel application and nail extensions.
- Promote retail sales of nail care products, tools, and accessories to enhance client results and boost revenue through upselling.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized workstation in compliance with health regulations.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or certification with training in nail care from an accredited program.
- Proven experience in providing a variety of nail services including gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art.
- Knowledge of color theory to create harmonious designs tailored to each client’s style.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and procedures to uphold safety regulations at all times.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform detailed work such as nail extensions, dermabrasion techniques, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, esthetic laser treatments, and barbering is a plus.
- Basic retail math skills for effective upselling of products and services.
