Schedule
This position follows a fixed four-day work week consisting of:
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
- Monday
This schedule is a required condition of employment. We believe this schedule provides excellent customer coverage while allowing for a consistent work-life balance with three consecutive weekdays off.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair residential garage doors, openers, springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and related components.
- Install new garage door opener systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on residential garage door systems.
- Educate homeowners on repair options, product upgrades, and preventative maintenance without using high-pressure sales tactics.
- Build trust by recommending only the repairs and products that genuinely benefit the customer.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from arrival through job completion.
- Accurately document inspections, repairs, recommendations, and completed work using company software.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and properly manage truck inventory.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Represent Precision Garage Door Service with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude at every customer interaction.
- Participate in ongoing technical and customer service training to continually improve your skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in garage door service, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive repair, appliance repair, maintenance, or another skilled trade.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Sales or customer-facing service experience is a plus.
- CRM experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 100 pounds safely.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
- Work in garages and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
- Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Maintain the physical ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work Friday through Monday every week.
