This contract opportunity, based near Mar Lin, PA, seeks a skilled School Psychologist to work primarily with school-aged, non-public students, as well as deliver occasional assessments for students in alternative education settings. In this multifaceted role, you’ll serve as a valuable resource to districts looking for your expertise during Extended School Year (ESY) sessions—offering services 2-3 days per week with the potential to extend and increase hours for the new school year.
In this position, you will:
- Conduct, score, and interpret ERs (Evaluations and Re-evaluations) and RRs (Re-evaluation Reports) for students, including specialized cases in alternative education settings.
- Provide consultation and psychological support to school staff, students, and families as requested by the districts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive support plans tailored to students’ unique educational needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely assessment records and documentation.
- Offer flexibility in your schedule, especially during ESY, with options to expand to full-time work in the upcoming school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid and current certification as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania.
- Prior experience with school-aged populations in educational settings.
- Familiarity with ER, RR processes, and alternative education environments.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
