To assist students with behavioral, emotional, or social needs in achieving success in the classroom by implementing behavior support plans, reinforcing positive behaviors, and helping maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
Provide 1:1 or small-group support for students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
May assist teachers with data collection.
Use de-escalation techniques and maintain calm, supportive interactions during crises. Collaborate with teachers to adjust strategies as needed.
Help with transition support (e.g., between classes, activities, or environments).
Maintain confidentiality and uphold student dignity at all times.
