Responsibilities

- Follow strict food handling and safety procedures to maintain hygiene standards and prevent contamination.
- Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning utensils, equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas regularly.
- Support catering events or special meal preparations as needed, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and address any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within dietary departments or similar settings.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments.
- Skilled in culinary techniques including knife skills, slicing methods, and recipe adherence.
