Position Overview
The Virtual SLP will provide speech and language services to students through a secure online platform while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to help students reach their communication goals.
Responsibilities
Provide virtual speech-language therapy services to students
Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring
Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
Attend virtual IEP meetings and required school meetings
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Requirements: To meet school district requirements, applicants must:
Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification
Possess ASHA CCCs (preferred or required depending on district)
Be eligible to work in the United States
Pass required background checks and fingerprint clearance
Have reliable internet access and a professional remote workspace
Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills
Be comfortable providing therapy through virtual platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Previous school-based or pediatric experience
Experience providing teletherapy services
Familiarity with virtual therapy tools and online documentation systems
Strong ability to engage students in a virtual setting
