Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Installer / Technician to join our team. In this role, you will travel to customer locations to install, configure, troubleshoot, and educate customers on a variety of consumer technology products and services. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Duties
- Install and configure consumer electronics, smart home devices, networking equipment, appliances, and home entertainment systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Educate customers on product features, operation, and maintenance.
- Ensure installations meet company standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Manage tools, equipment, and company-provided inventory.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Follow all driving, safety, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Drug Testing Required.
- Must own a reliable vehicle suitable for daily travel between customer locations. (Cargo-Van)
- Experience with installation, repair, or troubleshooting of electronics, networking, appliances, or related systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service appointments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home theater, smart home, appliance installation, or networking.
- Certifications in electronics, IT, networking, or related technical fields.
- Previous field service or customer-facing experience.
Pay: $38,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
