Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Waldorf, MD
Overview:
Our well-established internal medicine practice in Waldorf, MD is seeking a Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse adult patient population. Position Offers:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, no weekends

Permanent, full-time position

Compensation: $120,000–$135,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed clinical assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, for adult internal medicine patients

Formulate differential diagnoses and develop evidence-based care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians

Manage and prescribe medications in accordance with Maryland law and practice protocols

Document all patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR
-
Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications

Coordinate follow-up care, including ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
-
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
-
Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities and adherence to clinical guidelines
Qualifications:

Current Physician Assistant licensure (or eligibility) in Maryland

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program

Current NCCPA certification or eligibility for certification

BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred

Ongoing participation in continuing medical education (CME) relevant to internal medicine
