Our Apartment Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks throughout the day. Daily responsibilities include maintaining the property through interior and exterior repairs and upkeep, responding to resident service requests, and preparing apartment homes for new residents by assisting with the make-ready process. Our maintenance team is customer-focused, works in a safe environment, and is committed to maintaining a safety-conscious workplace.
HVAC experience & HVAC certification is preferred.

Responding to resident work orders (leaky faucets, door hinges, locks, etc.).
Diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems as needed.
Repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains.
Installing and repairing wiring, electrical outlets, plugs, and switches.
Repairing broken or damaged items throughout the community.
Assisting with apartment make-readies, including repairs, painting, and general maintenance.
Assisting in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
Completing documentation and other paperwork accurately and in a timely manner so service requests are properly documented for internal reporting.
Assisting with routine property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns, keeping the property in good repair, and communicating maintenance needs to management.
Maintaining accurate documentation of required community logs and regulatory records.
Attending monthly safety meetings conducted by the Property Manager.
Participating in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.

Work Location: This is an on-site position. While performing the job, the Maintenance Technician will be required to stand, walk, crouch, bend, climb, and lift objects regularly throughout the day. Frequent use of arms and legs is required. The position requires lifting 10 pounds or more on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation. CLK requires items exceeding 50 pounds to be lifted with assistance from one or more individuals.
Working Environment: Outdoors 66%–100% of the time. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of both the exterior and interior of the community.
