THE SCHEDULE COORDINATOR is responsible for scheduling nursing staff and maintaining payroll for the nursing department. The Coordinator will administer the scheduling of staff, maintain the master schedule with call-ins/replacements/changes, orient new employees to scheduling procedures, coordinate needs with staffing agencies, and other related duties as required by the Director of Nursing.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess the ability to plan, organize, and develop a schedule for nursing staff

One year of employment in a nursing home, medical office, or nursing position preferred

Computer/typing skills required

Prior knowledge of payroll systems and maintaining payroll required
