Graham Collision is a fast-growing, customer-focused collision repair center committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and service for over 50 years. We are seeking a motivated, knowledgeable PPG Paint Representative to work directly with our collision center team.
Position Overview:
The PPG Paint Representative will focus on training painters and prep technicians, supporting paint quality and processes, and managing paint and material inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and support painters and prep technicians on proper PPG paint products, mixing procedures, application techniques, and best practices.
- Provide hands-on technical assistance to improve paint quality, efficiency, and consistency.
- Help troubleshoot color matching, paint application, and refinishing issues.
- Monitor paint and material usage and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Work with management to establish inventory conrrols and reduce waste.
- Track ordering needs and help ensure necessary products and supplies are available when needed.
- Stay current on PPG products, refinishing technology, and industry best practices.
- Promote proper safety procedures and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Work closely with the collision center management and production team to improve workflow and overall shop performance.
Qualifications:
- Collision repair/refinishing experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paint and refinishing processes.
- PPG product knowledge and/or previous experience as a PPG representative is highly preferred.
- Experience training or mentoring painters and prep technicians.
- Strong organizational and inventory-management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work hands-on in a busy collision repair environment.
