Job Description:
- Operate a company-supplied tractor trailer for local and regional deliveries.
- Adhere to a fixed schedule, .Monday to Friday, with additional work every other Saturday.
- Load, secure, and unload freight using a pallet jack, ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of the assigned truck.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to optimize route efficiency and delivery schedules.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety guidelines.
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class A license
- Valid DOT Medical Card: Must possess a current Department of Transportation Medical Card.
- Experience: At least 6months of verifiable experience driving a tractor trailer.
- Driving Record: Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
- Background Check: Pass a thorough background check.
- Physical Capability: Ability to regularly use a pallet jack for the loading and unloading of freight.
- Flexibility: Availability to work Monday to Friday and every other Saturday, with day shift preference.
