Wingate’s Cake Design is a scratch baking cake and confection shop that is dedicated to creating exceptional cakes and desserts for wedding & large events.
Job Qualifications
- Servsafe certified
- Must have a drivers license & a car
- Organized and detail oriented
- At least 1 year experience with buttercream cake decorating.
- Ability to work CLEAN & quickly.
- Ability to remain focused under pressure, you will have to juggle mutliple tasks at one time
- The ability to stand for an 8 hour shift
- The ability to lift 50 lbs
- Time management skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Experience in all aspects of cake decorating, from simple buttercream decorated cakes to more elaborate and stacked wedding and celebration cakes
- Must be able to frost a buttercream cake. We do not use fondant.
- You will be responsible for producing party cakes, finishing desserts and all associated prep recipes.
- Sense of urgency, detail oriented, CLEANLIESS and organization skills.
- interview style will include a bench test, please come prepared.

- Job Type: Part-time 2-3 days a week.
- You will be helping with delivery and setup of weddings and events on Fridays & Saturdays.
