Your Impact
Alliance Connection is seeking a hungry, media-obsessed, and proactive PR Manager to own the engine and day-to-day execution of media relations across our travel and hospitality client portfolio. This role works closely with and in direct support of the PR Director, handling in-depth research, angle development, list-building, and media-facing coordination that keep our earned media machine running.
This is a media-first role. You live in journalist databases, editorial calendars, and outlet research. You know how to find the right contact and craft the right pitch that gets their attention while achieving client goals. You help shape their onsite experience, working with a coordinator to ensure the logistics of their media visit at our clients’ resorts is nothing short of seamless.
You are organized to a fault, a strong writer, a natural storyteller, and someone who gets genuinely excited about finding the right journalist, crafting the right angle and experience, and watching it turn into an impactful story.
This role reports to the PR Director, and works closely with Account Coordinators to ensure media guest logistics are seamlessly executed, and any client-side assets, approvals, or information flow through without disrupting the media relationship.
A Day in the Life of the PR Manager includes, but is not limited to:
Media Relations & Campaign Support
- Track and monitor media coverage across clients; update trackers and prepare weekly coverage summaries
- Support the team with researching, drafting, distributing, and following up on media or influencer pitches and press releases
- Build and maintain tiered media lists; assist with pulling editorial calendars and identifying relevant coverage opportunities
- Help fuel impactful narratives, ideate out-of-the-box pitches, and creative angles
- Monitor competitor coverage, journalist activity, emerging trends, and industry conversations to surface timely PR angles
- Create media clippings, coverage books, and win summaries for client agendas and reporting materials
Media Stay Coordination
- Manage end-to-end logistics for media visits, working with our travel coordinator who will execute travel bookings, itineraries, on-property coordination, and special requests
- Develop the curated guest itinerary — day-by-day schedule, dining, activities, and experiences — that is aligned with both client priorities and coverage goals
- Build comprehensive guest briefs for every media stay, covering campaign objectives, storylines, property highlights, VIP experiences, special amenity coordination, tour recommendations, and client talking points
- Serve as the primary check-in contact for media during their visits; keep the PR Director informed of stay status and any issues in real time, and flag issues to the Coordinator, who will work with the client to address them
- Track all post-stay deliverables, such as articles and social content posted by media
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Aggregate and report results across PR efforts for client-facing reporting decks
- Maintain campaign status trackers, databases, and shared team documents
- Maintain media lists and databases across platforms like MuckRack
- Support client reporting with data pulls beyond basic coverage tracking, including share of voice (SOV) lift, media value, AI citations, link backs, and quality coverage metrics

- The PR Manager always has a strong, current list of the right media contacts and angles ready to work with
- Pitches are well-researched, targeted, and built on a deep understanding of each journalist’s beat and interests
