Role Description
The Regional Manager, Lease-up and Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Baton Rouge, LA. This role oversees the lease-up of new multifamily communities, ensuring occupancy goals are met through effective marketing, resident relations, and team leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising onsite property staff, monitoring leasing activity and conversion rates, and implementing operational procedures that support consistent resident satisfaction and financial performance. The Regional Manager will review budgets, track KPIs, coordinate with development and asset management teams, and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. This role also involves frequent site visits, coaching team members, resolving escalated resident issues, and identifying process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in multifamily property management, lease-up, and regional operations leadership.
- Strong skills in team management, coaching, and performance oversight for onsite leasing and maintenance teams.
- Proficiency in budget management, financial reporting, and analysis of occupancy, revenue, and expense metrics.
- Experience with property management software, CRM tools, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent).
- Ability to develop and execute leasing strategies, marketing plans, and resident retention initiatives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with a focus on resident and partner relationships.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws, local rental regulations, and best practices in multifamily operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Capacity to travel to properties within the region as needed and work on-site in Baton Rouge, LA.
