American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a 325-bed acute care hospital in Washington, requiring ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 325 staffed beds
-
Interventional Radiology unit performing CT-guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower extremity angiograms, nuclear med/stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y90 procedures

Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00–17:30

Weekend coverage varies depending on staffing, approximately every 3–4 weekends

On-call responsibilities include one overnight weekday call shift (17:00–07:00) every other week, plus one weekend call shift (Friday 17:00–Monday 07:00) every 4–6 weeks

Charting in Epic (experience required)

Floating between all facilities within the state is required

Active WA RN license or compact RN license (pending license accepted, though quick starts are preferred)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of IR experience required; 3–5 years preferred

ICU experience required

Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract

Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

RTO is permitted, though keeping requests under 7 days total is preferred
