Job Overview
We are hiring Construction Technicians to help build modular offices and structures at our Marionville facility.
This is a hands-on construction position for people who enjoy building, remodeling, carpentry, framing, electrical work, trim, and general construction.
Our team takes shipping containers and builds them into completed modular spaces. The work includes the same trades found on a traditional construction site, including framing, electrical rough-in, insulation, paneling, doors and windows, trim, fixtures, and finish work.
The major difference: you work at the same facility instead of traveling from jobsite to jobsite.
Experience in residential or commercial construction, remodeling, carpentry, framing, electrical, or general trades is highly valued. Team members are typically assigned to a primary area but are expected to support other areas as needed based on production demands. Work must be performed safely while meeting quality standards and supporting daily production goals.
Types of Work:
Depending on your experience and assigned area, you may work on:
- Wood framing
- Carpentry
- Electrical rough-in
- Insulation
- Wall and panel installation
- Doors and windows
- Interior trim
- Fixtures and hardware
- Paint preparation and finishing
- Final electrical
- Punch-list and finish work
- Clean finished units
- General construction and installation
Responsibilities:
- Measure, mark, cut, and install construction materials
- Frame walls and other wood components
- Install paneling, trim, doors, windows, fixtures, and hardware
- Perform construction rough-in work
- Use saws, drills, impact drivers, nailers, levels, squares, tape measures, and other construction tools
- Read measurements, layouts, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect completed work for proper fit and finish
- Troubleshoot and correct installation issues
- Move and stage construction materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow jobsite and shop safety requirements
- Work alongside other trades to complete each modular build
- Assist in cleaning of finished units
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Experience in construction, assembly, or manufacturing preferred (not required)
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic layout/cuts
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Must maintain a reliable smartphone capable of accessing company systems (ERP, communication, production tools)
- Reliable and able to work in a production environment
- Safety-minded with attention to detail and workmanship
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs independently and heavier loads with assistance
- Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and material handling
- Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment (heat, cold, seasonal conditions)

Schedule
This is a 1st shift position. Standard working hours are Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Fridays and additional overtime may be required based on production needs and customer demand. Work schedules, start times, and hours are subject to change at management discretion due to production requirements, supply chain conditions, weather, or other operational factors.
