About Us
Pulse Cardiovascular Institute (an office-based lab, or OBL) and Pulse Cardiovascular Interventions (an ambulatory surgery center, or ASC) are pioneering a new model of clinic-based cardiovascular care. Our board-certified vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, and cardiologists diagnose and treat peripheral vascular and vein conditions using one of the most advanced imaging systems available in vascular medicine today.
Job Title: Pre-Health Intern
Why This Internship
This isn't shadowing from the back of the room. Pre-Health Interns work alongside our clinical team in a real, fast-moving vascular surgery practice — and the experience pays off. More than 50% of our interns who complete 300+ hours go on to be accepted to medical school. If you're serious about a career in medicine, this is where you build the hands-on experience, clinical exposure, and mentorship that set strong applicants apart.
What You'll Gain
- Clinical hours in a live vascular surgery practice — direct patient interaction, not back-of-the-room observation
- Volunteer pre-med hours that strengthen medical, PA, and nursing school applications
- Research experience working alongside our clinical and academic team
- Opportunities to publish — contribute to case reports, posters, and research presented at national meetings
