Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate the SpotOn POS system for order processing and payment transactions.
- Assist with catering events and banquets as needed, ensuring timely service and attention to detail.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring their needs are met.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with Spoton or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
