The Reserves at Hamilton Homes is a luxury event venue and bed-and-breakfast in Mableton, Georgia. We host weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, overnight guests, and other special events.
We are hiring dependable Overnight Event Cleaners & Property Reset Associates to clean and reset the property after events. This role is essential to ensuring that the venue is clean, organized, secure, and ready for the next client or overnight guest.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, reliable, and comfortable working independently during late-night hours.
Primary Responsibilities
- Clean the venue immediately following weddings, parties, and private events
- Collect and remove trash from indoor and outdoor areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, common areas, and event spaces
- Wash dishes and return kitchen items to their proper locations
- Wipe down tables, chairs, counters, doors, and frequently touched surfaces
- Break down and reset tables, chairs, linens, décor, and venue equipment
- Return furniture and supplies to their designated locations
- Clean outdoor areas, patios, walkways, pool areas, and event grounds
- Check bedrooms and lodging areas when overnight guests are included
- Restock restroom supplies, paper products, trash bags, and cleaning materials
- Identify and photograph property damage, missing items, excessive messes, or policy violations
- Complete a final walkthrough and closing checklist before leaving
- Secure doors, windows, gates, lights, and designated areas
- Notify management when supplies are low or repairs are needed
- Assist event staff with end-of-night cleanup when required
Position Expectations
- Arrive on time and remain until the assigned checklist is completed
- Complete resets thoroughly—not simply make the property look clean
- Follow room diagrams, checklists, and property standards
- Treat the venue, guests, clients, and team members professionally
- Protect confidential information about clients and events
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely
- Report problems immediately instead of leaving them for the next shift
- Be available for shifts that may end between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM
Qualifications
- Previous professional cleaning, hotel housekeeping, event cleanup, janitorial, or hospitality experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable transportation to and from Mableton during late-night hours
- Reliable phone and ability to communicate with management
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Ability to follow written checklists and verbal instructions
- Professional, trustworthy, and respectful
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Must be willing to complete a background check
- Must be able to work weekends and late-night shifts
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Move tables, chairs, trash bags, linens, and cleaning supplies
- Work both indoors and outdoors
- Use stairs and clean a multi-level property
- Work in changing weather conditions when cleaning outdoor spaces
