Lowrys Lawn Service is looking for an experienced and reliable Lawn Care Technician / Mower Operator to join our team in St. Cloud, FL.
We provide professional lawn maintenance for residential and commercial properties in St. Cloud and surrounding areas.
We are looking for someone with hands-on professional lawn care experience who is comfortable operating commercial lawn equipment. You will normally work as part of our crew, but you should also be capable of working independently and taking responsibility when needed.
Responsibilities
* Operate zero-turn mowers safely and efficiently
* Perform professional mowing, edging, string trimming, and blowing
* Trim hedges and shrubs as needed
* Maintain a clean and professional appearance at customer properties
* Handle lawn care equipment carefully and responsibly
* Follow daily routes and work instructions
* Work efficiently as part of a crew and independently when needed
* Drive a company truck and landscape trailer when needed and qualified
Qualifications
* Previous professional lawn care or landscape maintenance experience
* Experience operating a zero-turn mower
* Experience with string trimmers, edgers, and blowers
* Valid driver’s license
* Reliable transportation to work
* Dependable and punctual
* Able to work well as part of a small team
* Able to work independently when required
* Able to perform physical outdoor work in Florida heat and changing weather conditions
* Attention to detail and respect for customers’ properties and company equipment
Preferred Experience
* Driving a pickup truck with a utility or landscape trailer
* Hedge and shrub trimming
* Basic lawn care equipment maintenance
We are looking for someone interested in a stable, long-term position. On-the-job training is provided for our routes, equipment, and service standards, but applicants should already have practical lawn care experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
