Job Summary
National Manufacturer is seeking knowledgeable and dedicated Accounts Receiveable Clerks to join our team at our new office annex in Dallas, TX.
The Accounts Receivable clerk reports to the Assistant Controller and assumes a supporting role in tasks related to efficient maintenance and accurate processing of financial transactions. Provides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring that all sales, receipts and other related activity is controlled by processing, verifying, and reconciling Customer accounts according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Duties
- Processing and verifying invoices for goods sold or services rendered.
- Processing Cash receipts daily and applying activity to customer accounts accurately in a timely manner, including the issuance of credit memos when applicable.
- Researching and resolving Customer account discrepancies as necessary in a timely manner.
- Monthly bank reconciliations and daily bank reporting.
- Maintaining organized records regarding customer receipts and account status.
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure customer account records are accurate and complete so that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date. This includes working on customer short pays and damages with customer service to resolve issues timely.
- Working with management to review accounts, customer receipts, credit history, and update payment terms.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending AR aging reports to customers, filing paperwork, and contacting customers to discuss their accounts.
- Generating reports and statements for internal use as necessary.
- Responsible for reporting issues related to Food Packaging safety or quality,
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two years’ minimum accounts receivable experience, preferably in high volume manufacturing environment.

- PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment) and with other computer software systems for the preparation of reports, spreadsheets and other accounting analysis that may be required by management.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
