We're resetting the special programs software market by replacing disconnected legacy systems with a modern, cloud-native platform that unifies Special Education (IEP), Section 504, RTI/MTSS, and LPAC into one connected experience.
To make that vision possible, we're looking for an experienced Python Integration Engineer who is passionate about building secure, scalable integrations that connect school districts with the systems they rely on every day.If you enjoy solving complex integration challenges, working with cloud technologies, and building APIs that make software work seamlessly together, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do: As a member of our engineering team, you'll design and develop integrations that enable K12 Plus to become the connected hub for school district data.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python integration services.
- Build REST APIs and event-driven integrations with internal and third-party systems.
- Develop integrations with Student Information Systems (SIS), identity providers, assessment platforms, and state education data exchanges.
- Build and maintain integrations with the Texas Education Exchange (Ed-Fi) and other education data standards.
- Design secure data synchronization processes between cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot API, authentication, and data synchronization issues.
- Develop automated monitoring, logging, and alerting for integration services.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested Python code.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term platform design.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Customer Success teams.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
