The DAR Boys & Girls Club is looking for energetic, caring, and dependable team members to join our After School Program Team! We're currently hiring staff for our Learning Center and Art Room, where you'll help create a safe, engaging, and positive environment for youth after school each day.
Whether you're helping members succeed with homework, encouraging creativity through hands-on art projects, or simply building meaningful relationships, you'll play an important role in helping young people reach their full potential.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise and actively engage Club members during after-school programming
- Assist members with homework and academic enrichment in the Learning Center
- Lead creative arts, crafts, and hands-on projects in the Art Room
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, teamwork, and positive behavior
- Build supportive relationships and serve as a positive role model
- Help create a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for youth ages 7–18
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and maintaining organized program spaces
- Work collaboratively with other staff to deliver high-quality programming
What We're Looking For:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Passionate about working with youth
- Friendly, dependable, energetic, and positive
- Comfortable leading small group activities and assisting members
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Approximately 15-20 hours per week
