Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using imaging and dental terminology.
- Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as resin fillings, crowns and partials.
- Utilize dental practice management software (Dentrix) to document dental records accurately while adhering to HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are strictly followed during all procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions in a clear, empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current dental practices, medical terminology, and advancements in dental technology to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA certification if applicable.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in general dentistry with additional interest in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics or oral surgery preferred.
- Excellent client communication skills (some Spanish helpful) with the ability to educate patients about their oral health effectively.
