Summary: Coordinate and lead the day-to-day operations of the branch. Maintain communication among staff and provide support, guidance, and training to staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting customers with banking needs including running teller transactions when needed, opening accounts, providing file maintenance, closing accounts, issuing negotiable instruments, and balancing cash and transactions.

Participating in Saturday teller rotation.

Answering customer questions.

Effectively supervising and utilizing branch staff to ensure that all branch operations and internal controls are completed in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with Association policies and procedures.

Evaluating staff on job performance, job duties, and adherence to Association policies and procedures.

Assisting staff when problems or errors occur.

Assisting in the resolution of customer complaints.

Effectively promoting a teamwork environment through leading by example, coaching to improve weaknesses, and recognizing strengths.

Ensuring supply of money for the branch needs is met based on cash limits and business demands.

Balancing and replenishing the ATM.

Monitoring and reviewing branch security procedures and controlling access to the vault and teller drawers.

Creating opportunities to promote Association products and services at every opportunity.

Ensuring adequate staffing in the branch by monitoring and approving requests for time off appropriately.

Maintaining procedural proficiency in all teller and savings transactions.

Supporting branch and Association goals by motivating staff and encouraging cross-selling and product promotion.

Ensuring a high level of customer service.

Assisting in the hiring of new staff.

Maintaining knowledge of banking rules and regulations by completing regular training courses and attending seminars and webinars.

Maintaining office supplies and equipment, and making certain the building is clean and operational.

Creating opportunities to promote Association products and services.

High school diploma with at a two year degree or higher preferred.

Three to five years of banking experience.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.

Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to influence, motivate, and coach others.

Ability to interface with all levels of bank employees and customers in a professional and diplomatic manner.
