American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Sierra Vista, AZ, requiring at least 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.

Position is located in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab serving an adult patient population
-
Primary focus is interventional cardiology with occasional IR procedures including vascular embolization, port placements, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tubes
-
Staff covers Cath Lab, stress testing, TEE, and tilt procedures
-
Preferred experience includes manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
-
Common diagnosis and treatment involves coronary artery disease (CAD)

EMR is Cerner
-
Fluoroscopy equipment is GE; hemodynamics system is transitioning to a new platform
-
Shift is 10.5 hours, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

36-hour work week

On-call required on weekends; call requirements exceed 12 days

Occasional floating to IR is required

Orientation runs bi-weekly

Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

RRT or RCIS certification required

AHA certifications required (e.g., BLS, ACLS)

Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology

Experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures required

IR procedure experience required

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Hospital-provided scrubs

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Travelers who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment

The facility is a 90-bed hospital located in the high desert of southeastern Arizona, 75 miles southeast of Tucson
