Responsibilities
- Oversee the night audit process by reconciling daily financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Provide outstanding guest services with a friendly, professional attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest accounts, and billing information using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Conduct security checks of the property to ensure safety and adherence to hotel policies
- Respond to emergency situations or guest requests with promptness and professionalism
- Prepare detailed shift reports covering financial summaries, incidents, and operational activities for management review
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse clientele
- Ability to work overnight shifts with flexibility in scheduling
- Familiarity with hospitality standards, including guest services, resort operations, and security protocols
- Previous experience working in a busy hotel environment or resort setting is preferred
