Job Title: Lot Porter / Detailer
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Pay: $18-20/hour
Schedule:
- Wednesday to Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Monday and Tuesday off)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lot Porter/Detailer to join our dealership team in Santa Barbara. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping our lot organized, vehicles clean, and assisting with daily dealership operations. This is a customer-facing role that requires professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle lot
- Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicles inside and out
- Move and park vehicles in designated areas
- Assist with vehicle deliveries and pickups as needed
- Monitor inventory and report any damage or maintenance needs
- Perform other general lot and facility maintenance duties
- Support sales and service staff with vehicle-related tasks
Requirements:
- Valid California driver’s license
- Clean DMV record
- Clean criminal background
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Previous detailing or porter experience is a plus but not required
