Overview
My Dad is recovering from a fall/traumatic brain injury sustained in December 2025. Since he's a fall risk, he wears a gait belt for safety and has significant memory and other cognitive deficits. He needs some help with feeding; consistent standby assistance (always at arm's length) for showering, toileting, and standing/walking; light assistance with feet and back for showering; cues or occasional light assist for dressing/undressing when needed, etc. We're looking for caregivers to help him safely rehab/regain stamina and independence. This is an active, engaging position for patient, kind, honest, punctual, reliable, and fit caregivers who will help him with cognitive and physical therapy home exercises and to enjoy this season of his life. After short July shifts that include paid training, we plan to increase shift lengths starting in August.
