Welder – 8-Week Project
Pay: $25.00-$32.00/hour
Schedule: 40-50 hours per week
Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Project Duration: 8 Weeks
Start Date: July 13, 2026
We are currently hiring Welders for an 8-week project supporting a major plant expansion. This is a great opportunity for skilled welders who enjoy working in a in a field/commercial environment and take pride in producing quality work.
Job Responsibilities
- Weld newly fabricated systems and components for plant expansion projects
- Work closely with shop fabricators to assemble and complete custom metal products completing structural welding and some fitting
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Prepare materials for welding by grinding, fitting, and cleaning surfaces
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in structural, industrial and commercial facilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Required PPE
- Basic use of PPE such as:
- Hard hat
- Safety vest or high-visibility shirt
- Safety glasses
- Welding gloves
- Steel-toe boots
Required Tools
- Welding helmet
- Welding gloves
- Angle grinder
- Wire brush
- Chipping hammer
- Clamps
- Pliers
- Welding gauges
- Combination and framing squares
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and climbing
- Working in a fabrication shop environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
