About the Role
As a Precision Grinding Machinist, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations by ensuring the production of high-quality mechanical components. You will leverage your technical expertise in CNC and manual grinding to maintain tight tolerances and drive manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities-
Configure and manage multiple grinding platforms, including CNC, ID, OD, and centerless machines, to meet production targets.

Interpret complex blueprints and technical documentation to ensure all machined parts meet precise engineering specifications.

Perform rigorous quality inspections using advanced gauging equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and component integrity.

Maintain optimal machine performance by calculating feed rates, rotation speeds, and machining times.

Document production data accurately within ERP systems to track throughput and inventory status.

Collaborate with the team to uphold high safety standards and maintain an organized, efficient workspace.

Provide peer-to-peer quality verification to ensure consistent output across the production line.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience setting up and operating precision grinding equipment.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and manufacturing work instructions.

Proficiency in performing shop-floor mathematical calculations for machining adjustments.

Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Must meet federal export control requirements as a U.S. Person.

High school diploma or equivalent educational background.

Experience operating multiple machine types simultaneously in a high-volume environment.

Familiarity with precision measuring tools and gauge calibration procedures.

Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machining issues and improve process flow.
