We are Bildworx Design, an MEP engineering firm located in the Fort Lauderdale area, and we’re looking to add a Mechanical Engineer PE to our team. Our services include MEP Engineering Design, Technology Systems Design, and Specialty Lighting Design.

Some things you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the design for various construction projects with a strong knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts.
- Designing HVAC systems, including equipment specification and selection.
- Performing thermal load and energy calculations as required.
- Managing projects to ensure successful delivery of project milestones.
- Coordinating project-related communication between clients and team members.
- Tracking project open items and working with clients to resolve issues.
- Conducting project site visits, documenting existing conditions, and attending client meetings if needed.
- Complying with all authorities and staying current on all applicable code requirements.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required for the state of Florida.
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical HVAC design.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management.
- AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency.
- Professional, positive, solution-driven, willing to learn.
- Strong desire to produce quality work and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent client-facing skills, including communication and follow-through.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
- Candidate must be located in Broward, Miami-Dade, or Palm Beach County.
Additional preferred qualifications:
- Plumbing system design.
- Fire protection system design.
- LEED AP.
