Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of commercial or residential properties. This role involves ensuring that properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all regulations while providing exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge of facilities systems, and a passion for creating welcoming, efficient environments. As a Property Manager, you will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise staff, and implement strategic initiatives to optimize property performance and tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety protocols to ensure optimal functionality.
- Supervise maintenance teams and external contractors, providing clear direction and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors for services such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage wiring—and mechanical equipment.
- Monitor facilities management activities by reviewing schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to industrial maintenance, electrical systems, high voltage safety procedures, and building codes.
- Manage budgets for maintenance projects, oversee project management tasks from planning through execution, and optimize resource allocation for manufacturing or industrial facilities.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, safety audits, and equipment performance using CMMS tools.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency by implementing innovative solutions involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation technologies.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members, vendors, and stakeholders to coordinate activities seamlessly across all levels of the organization.
Skills
- Proven management experience with strong leadership capabilities in supervising teams within facilities or industrial environments.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience—particularly in high voltage and low voltage systems—and familiarity with schematics and ohmmeters.
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance management; experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
- Deep understanding of HVAC systems, industrial maintenance practices, and manufacturing facility operations.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills in English to facilitate clear coordination among team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
