Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Itasca, IL, supporting commercial pricing strategy within the logistics and transportation industry. This role is ideal for a commercially minded pricing professional who enjoys analyzing transportation costs, partnering with sales and operations, and improving processes that support profitable business growth.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can guide and mentor pricing analysts without direct reporting responsibility. You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Billing, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, and Executive Leadership, making this a highly visible role with strong cross-functional impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day commercial pricing activity by coaching, guiding, and supporting pricing analysts while promoting consistency and best practices.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership to develop competitive pricing strategies that support profitability and business growth.
- Prepare, analyze, and review complex pricing proposals for domestic and international transportation services.
- Evaluate transportation costs, market trends, customer requirements, and vendor rates to build accurate pricing models.
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes through automation, analytics tools, AI, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve pricing discrepancies and collaborate with internal departments on commercial, billing, vendor, and customer-related issues.
Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
