Longeviti is seeking skilled craft persons – artisans, cabinet makers, sculptors, ceramicists, luthiers, and those with similar skills – to become manufacturers of cranial implants for reconstructive surgery
Job Responsibilities:
Will work in a light manufacturing setting to craft custom cranial implants and standard off the shelf cranial implants for reconstructive cranial surgery and diagnostics. This position involves molding, casting, finishing, and polishing cranial implant devices from an acrylic like material. Some devices require simple machining operations. Every process step must adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions, and every action must be thoroughly documented. Technicians will be trained but must bring a strong work ethic, ability to learn and consistently follow instructions, work as a team, and take responsibility for their own actions. A demonstrated history of reliability is essential.
Duties can include but are not limited to:
- Hand crafting fabrication of custom cranial implants.
- Machine assisted crafting of standard off-the-shelf cranial implants
- Using various computer and mobile apps to communicate and record data
- Working with a Quality Management System (QMS), SOPs, daily logging and record keeping
- Shipping, Inventory, and Equipment calibration
- 3D Printer unloading and post processing
- Lab Cleaning
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate a history of reliability
- Must be able read and comply with Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
- Must have manual dexterity consistent with polishing and finishing precision objects
- High school diploma or GED equivalent – Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs
- Must be physically able to complete job requirements.
- Organized, detail oriented
- Experience working in clean environments a plus, e.g. dental, food service, laboratory, manufacturing, hobbyist/maker/artist
- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills a plus
- HIPPA knowledge a plus
